When I close the game farming on low level bosses and I return to it it's on higher monster levels with no boss kill counts.
Fun game, but it's weird that I can't use my heroes upgrades on lower level quests. Everytime I do time attack in grasslands (or whatnot) I have my old gear from the time I started the game. It makes no sense when I get "quest failed" and in the bottom it's written "No luck? Try runes or upgrade your hero", well, it's fully upgraded from where I stand.
A fairly fun, short game. I enjoyed it while it lasted.
By the way, I wanted to see what happens if you reach China when time is up. As I thought, it crashes the game ;]
I've been playing this for four days now and I still get day 1 reward. How does it work anyway? Is it a bug? Other than that, game looks pretty decent, if you don't mind unbalanced skill system.
As always, wonderful game. Maybe to addictive, because I wasted a lot of time on it, when I had to work.
By the way, what is the problem with NG medals? In every second game I don't get medals. Or some of them don't work and with this game they don't work.
a bit unffair
I really enjoy this game and find it very addictive, but boy oh boy, does it feel unfair to player... Every turn is based on huge luck, and most of the time I find this game unfair, when I always get something good, but low on health I come to fight a dragon. How is that fair?
I played this game so much that in one point I actually did so good (on luck), that I had a couple of vouchers on me and some could buy better equipment, but after that one out of two enemies were always dragons and there were no potions to buy (just be cause of bad luck). So it's not much of a game, just random guessing. Still, enjoyed it plenty of times just for the addiction effect :]
not bad, although a little annoying
I might be just unobservant, but is there a possibility that one of the keys was in the chest and one of the keys I used on some chest wasted my last key for other boxes key? Cause I now have 99 mushrooms, 1 locked chest and 23 journal pages. I solved all shrines, so now I have flying, ability to see sparkling things and teleportation runes. Nothing sparkles in the world anymore for that one damned locked chest and I walked and flew all over the world for maybe 5 times throughout and back. Did I miss something?
On the other hand, the game is someone enjoyable, really n ice graphics and collecting things relaxes you from all those repetitive shoot em up zombie games. It gets sometimes a little laggy, even if I'm not opening my map (and it's very annoying to have opened map lag the game), although in the beginning it went very smoothly.
So the game deserves it's credit, for being fun for most part, even though it gets a little annoying when you can't find the last parts of the puzzle.
really brilliant concept
I really liked how this game started and how fast it gained so much popularity (looking at those players walking around). Story intrigues me and I want to know what is awaiting at the end, but... I gave 4/5 stars maybe too quickly (and 4/5 stars are a lot coming from me). What nearly kills this game is really, and I mean REALLY bad controls. I just came to the 5th Body level and I'm going nuts when I jump and find myself falling for stiff jumping and controlling player on tiny platforms is hell itself, when I reach platform or edge sometimes I can't grab to them, or many times I just fallen from them for no reason. It's really frustrating and I kinda want to drop this game for now and maybe return later, cause I care about story.
Other than that I enjoyed board game challenges the most, that was a great idea to incorporate it in the whole game.
By the way, I get unusual lag when playing platform levels and some buggy animation. Sound effects are to wild in this game too. I can hear boulders crashing or making rumbly sounds even when I'm far away from places that could make those sounds.
Well, off to try again and beat the crap out of the Body spirit.
Very addictive, but oh my, the AI of penguins just sucked hard ass. Always walking in to the walls and seeking the same target (which is bad considering those disappearing turtles). If that can be fixed than game is worth more than 7 stars. Other than that, I enjoyed it at most.
Fix it that letter won't be an obstacle, level 12 in particular gives too much frustration.
